Design Methodologies and Creative Processes at Área: Santiago 2013

From January 10 to 13, 2013, the first Area: Santiago edition was held at Factoría Italia. The exhibition focused on two fascinating dimensions of the methods and creative processes used in design, architecture, and visual arts.
These were the finished “work” itself and the creative process behind it—which can be personal and subjective in some cases, methodical and professional in others.

In short, the aim was to present each exhibitor’s methods and processes, allowing visitors to compare the techniques and see how they shape the final work or product.

We were present at the exhibition with the product “Crystal Clear” from Proyecto Ensamble, within the design and visual arts category. We specifically explained the methodology and technical processes, from the design of the two-dimensional template to the final volumetric layout. Where you can clearly see how we go from two to three dimensions.
Our exhibition went from being almost unnoticed to becoming the venue’s most visited show. We’d like to thank Patricio Pozo for the invitation.
