Launch Series 4 “The Edge” Ensemble Project
“The Edge” Ensemble Project Series 4 Release is scheduled for late 2012, along with the whole end-of-the-world thing and all that nonsense. Delayed but finally finalized, the new Ensemble Project series "The Edge" is being presented NOW!, YES!, NOW! at Hotel W.
To complement the launch, samples referring to series 4 were made during 2012 and 2013, under the concept "The Edge". We did the first one at PumaLab at GAM on 12/12/12 (excellent date, right!?) in which we showed customs made on the assembled template, but with the difference that these pieces measure 20 cm in height. The invited artists were Jose Carcamo , Pablo Inda, Miguel Molina Saldivia , Tomas Ives, Alen Lauzán , Gabriel Garvo, Carlos Alexis Velasquez , NewFren and Cesar Grotesco Fuentes .
This step was fundamental as an introduction to the new series, and the exhibition was finally transformed into a traveling event that was presented at Juventud Providencia, where a month-long cycle of workshops was also held, with excellent results.
For all these reasons we are happy to present the new artists that make up the new Proyecto Ensamble series.
Firstly, Alberto Montt , who collaborated with us with a classic of his imagination.
The guest artists' contributions base their design on the concept of chaos/end of the world. All achieving excellent graphic results. Among them are Crin (Italy), Pascal Cuttoli AKA Royal Glamsters (France), Tweedlebop (USA), Jorsh Peña (Mexico), Salazad (Indonesia), Ty Wilkins (USA),Wilmer Murillo (Honduras), Tougui (France) . Obviously we couldn't stop having Chilean artists, therefore we included a variety of them, with excellent level. Starting with Shhipp (Chile), Miguel Molina Saldivia (Chile).
Plus a super extra from the series, which you can find alongside the characters from series 1, Carlos Alexis Velásquez AKA Monsterbird .
