Zincha, official mascot Copa América 2015 paper Toy
When they unveiled the new mascot for the 2015 Copa América soccer match. We saw that they had been inspired by the zincha, a type of fox that lives in Latin America. According to the organization of the event, it is a culpeo fox, which “is found throughout Chile and all of South America.
We really like animals and illustration, but not so much football. But we saw that it was feasible to design a paper toy figure, since it seems relatively easy to build it on paper due to the faceted and polygonal shape of the illustration. In a burst of inspiration and enthusiasm, we teamed up with the Peruvian Paper Toys Artist, Kioshi Shimabuku and we got going.
The task was to create the template to assemble the head of the figure while our partner created the template that corresponds to the body. By joining both templates you get the three-dimensional figure of the Copa América mascot that will accompany you while your dad or your husband watches the football match.
Today we are pleased to bring you this paper toy , made with the love of God by two greats. Here we leave you the download link. Enjoy!!
