Rabbit Art Fest, Berlin Germany. The art of creating an exhibition that includes a great variety of artists, and that can also be moved from one distance place to another using the least amount of resources possible. Is what we tested and verified in the art show developed in the OKK/Raum29 art gallery in Berlin under “Kolonie Wedding” activities.
Kolonie Wedding is a monthly activity that gets its name from the network colony of 23 artists who manage free art spaces in the Wedding district in Berlin, Germany. While these spaces have a strong connection with their immediate surroundings, their activities involve people all over the world. Turning Kolonie Wedding into a work that breaks boundaries as well as creating new experiences for artists and the public.
In this scenario we presented the Rabbit Art Fest. Where we show the work of all the artists that participated in the 2016, included the featured artists and all the collaborators who illustrated a paper rabbit to Mr. Rabbit series.
The materials we use to show the works, basically paper, allowed us to move all the material in the most practical way. So we check the usability of the object’s design and how it can be applied to an even larger assembly.
Finally we are grateful for the invitation from the gallery. The Chilean culture funds and all the people who collaborated and participated in the materialization of the Rabbit Art Fest in Berlin.
