Chilean artists like Felipe Zavala are not common, he is a graphic designer, and at the same time he makes original illustrations, animations, as well as creating cute characters for children and not so children, born from his imagination as Chako_lee
On the other hand, Felipe Zavala (Chako) is a meticulous illustrator and visual artist who has been working for more than 5 years in the rescue of lettering and popular graphics. His oustanding lettering work, in vibrant colors, does not go unnoticed.
He also dedicated himself for about 6 years to teaching at the ESDIP school in Madrid, where he taught traditional animation classes, the one that is done only with pencil and paper.
We met him personally in 2018 when we were installed in our first location in Persa Victor Manuel. While Chako was, and still is, completely dedicated to the creation of lettering in various formats, such as signs, magnets and stickers which he sells in his shop in Persa.
Eventually we both changed locations within the Persa Víctor Manuel, but we kept in touch since we like our work mutually. Chako has collaborated several times making intervention of our templates, in some larger scale assemblies and the template of the rabbits, and we also invite him to collaborate in the new edition of Gentleman Cat.
From what you can see he made us a super character that looks most attractive in the template. It is an electric cat with glam rock hair cut, it has 3 ayes, that´s enough to see everything. Chako´s design is superior, it`s a pity we can`t print all the collaborations that came to us, but it will be present soon in the launch exhibition of the new series.
