Ongoing training is one of the pillars of professional success. It is for this reason that through workshops or practical workshops, of short duration but very productive, universities provide training resources so that students can update their knowledge.
Within this context, a workshop of two sessions of four hours was held in the Week 9 event of the design faculty of the Universidad del Desarrollo in Concepción. During the session, attendees worked on the creation of a template based on a volume that was previously sculpted in plastic foam.
During the workshop a very favorable environment was created for the joint work. The creation of a template for each participant was specified in a precise and objective way. To finally do a joint job to assemble and decorate the models on a larger scale.
When creating paper templates through this method, we take the creative out of the digital environment, inviting him to develop functional shapes and volumes in an analogous way. In this way, it is intended to enrich the creative processes of future professionals.
